One of the saddest scenarios in working with fosters is the senior dog that has lost his usefulness and the family give him up.
Please be aware that you are the only thing this dog has known his whole life.
It's so difficult to watch a senior dog try to adjust to not having his home, people, familiar things.
Please don't get a dog if you're not in it for his whole life.
He's in it for your's.
On a good note....when planning a wedding or event a lot of couples include their precious seniors.
